CAUSE: Field reports indicate that during underhood vehicle repairs, fender covers are removed or not used and excessive force, incuding body weight, is applied to the overflow nipple.

CORRECTION: It is advisable to utilize vehicle fender covers and take extra precaution to prevent exposing the radiator overflow nipple to any excessive force, including body weight.
