DENSO to demonstrate new iOS interface for its advanced diagnostic tool

LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., will spotlight its electronic inspection tool, VehicleMRI, at the 2021 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). DENSO will preview the device’s new iOS interface at the Nov. 2-4 trade show in Las Vegas.

DENSO welcomes attendees to Booth #2225 on Level 2 of the Sands Expo to see the new VehicleMRI iOS mobile app ahead of its market launch in spring 2022. VehicleMRI is currently available for Android smartphones and tablets with the mobile app available to download from the Google Play Store.

“We listened to technicians all over the country and realized that there is a huge contingent of iOS users and, by developing an iOS mobile app, it now gives us the opportunity to serve basically anyone with a smartphone,” said Frank Choi, business development manager, Connected Services Department. “The user experience will be very similar to the Android version with just a few differences native to iOS. The technicians have spoken and we have listened.”

VehicleMRI is a powerful, cutting-edge tool that standardizes the internal electronics inspection while saving the technician time during the multi-point inspection. DENSO’s predictive analytics helps eliminate the guesswork of the vehicle’s health by allowing technicians to quickly run up to 700 tests and produce a complete report that uncovers underperforming systems, saving mechanics and their customers time and money.

Throughout the three-day show, DENSO representatives will be available to conduct business directly with customers and companies interested in DENSO’s comprehensive line of original-equipment quality aftermarket products, industry-leading technical training program, advanced technology, and award-winning customer support services. For more information on VehicleMRI, visit https://www.vehiclemri.com. Information on all DENSO parts and services is available at www.densoautoparts.com.

AAPEX is the premier trade show for the global automotive aftermarket industry. Historically, the event has drawn more than 160,000 automotive professionals and features approximately 2,500 exhibiting companies displaying their latest products, services and technologies that keep the world’s 1.4 billion vehicles on the road. The 2021 show resumes as an in-person event following last year’s program held virtually due to the pandemic.
